Before Drilling, We Highly Recommend Wearing A Mask And Gloves For Protection. Save The Hardware After Removing Your Old Parts To Use When Re-Installing. Step One - Gather Your Gloves And Safety Glasses. Take Note Of The Parts Assembly Order On Your Chair. They Will Need To Go Back The Same Way. Take A Picture If Needed. Step Two - Remove The Old Plates From Your Swivel Rocker. Step Three - You Will Need To Drill Four Holes. Carefully Line Up A New Part With Your Old One. Hold Them Together With A Vise Or Vise Grips. Step Four - Drill The Holes Slightly Larger Than The Bolt So They Will Pass Through The Hole Freely. Leave A Minimum Of 3/8 Inches Between The Edge Of The Plate And The Outside Of The Hole To Maintain Structural Integrity. Step Five - After Drilling The Holes, Inspect The Part To Ensure No Cracks Before Installing. Step Six - Important. The Bolts And Nuts Should Never Be In Direct Contact With The Plates. Ensure The Rocker Plates Are Between The Chair Frame And A Metal Bar Or Washer.
