Your story is safe with us. Here’s exactly what we collect and how we use it.
Our promise
Brilliant Impact (“we,” “us”) helps ministries, nonprofits and businesses tell their story. We only collect what we need to answer you, run this website and serve our clients, and we never sell your information. This policy explains what we collect on brilliantimpact.com, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill out our consultation form or email us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email, phone number, organization and message.
- How you use the site. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data such as pages visited, time on page, referring site, approximate location (city or region), browser and device type.
- Cookies. Small files stored by your browser that help the site work, measure traffic and protect our forms from spam.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule your consultation
- To deliver and manage the work we do for our clients
- To understand which pages are helpful so we can improve the site
- To keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam
- To send occasional updates, only if you have asked to receive them (you can unsubscribe any time)
Services we rely on
We use a few trusted providers to run this site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- ClickUp hosts our consultation form and stores what you submit.
- Google Analytics (through ExactMetrics) measures site traffic using cookies.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from people, not bots. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Instagram (Meta) may load images and set cookies where our Instagram feed appears.
- Kinsta hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We’ll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we need it to serve you and meet our business, tax and legal obligations, then delete it. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics retention settings.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access limited to our team. No method of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect what you trust us with.
Children
This site is meant for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, including our clients’ sites and social media. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
